The family winery Domaine Waegell Gérard is located in Nothalten and was founded in 1937 by Victor Waegell. Today, the estate is managed by Gérard Waegell in the third generation. The vineyard area covers eight hectares, spread across the four municipalities of Nothalten, Itterswiller, Epfig, and Scherwiller. The portfolio includes regional sites as well as wines from the Grand Cru Muenchberg, with a particular focus on Riesling. The estate operates in accordance with the highest certification level of the Haute Valeur Environnementale label.
