About the estate
The wine estate Domaine Saint Amant in Suzette in the Vallée du Rhône cultivates 13 hectares of vineyards at an altitude of 600 meters on Mont Saint Amant within the Dentelles de Montmirail massif. The geological formation features the Diapir de Suzette, which brings layers of Trias, Jurassique, and Miocène containing salt, gypse, marnes colorées, calcaires, and cargneules to the surface. Operational methods include manual harvesting, indigenous yeasts, temperature control, and one year of aging in large oak foudres older than 20 years. The estate is listed in the Vignerons Indépendants de France – Annuaire. The portfolio includes the dry red wine Grangeneuve from the 2021 vintage, composed of 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 10% Carignan, and 10% Viognier. The vines for this cuvée are planted at an altitude of 500 meters within the AOC Beaumes de Venise.
