About the estate
The family-owned Domaine Romanesca is managed in the second generation by the brothers Antoine and Olivier alongside Lucrèce, overseeing seven hectares of vineyards. Following the takeover from Guy and Ferréole Chastel in 2019, the entire estate transitioned to organic farming, achieving certification for the 2022 harvest. The portfolio includes wines from the Moulin-à-Vent cru as well as Fleurie, Juliénas, Morgon, and white and rosé Beaujolais Villages. The working method involves plot-specific cultivation of vines up to fifty years old trained in gobelet, alongside traditional vinification with barrel aging for selected cuvées.
