About the estate

The Domaine Richard estate is located in Chavanay in the Rhône Valley and operates as a family-run business. In 1989, Hervé Richard succeeded two generations of winegrowers and, together with his wife Marité, specialized in the Saint-Joseph, Condrieu, and Côte-Rôtie appellations. The ten hectares of vineyards are situated on steep hillside slopes across the village of Chavanay and its surrounding area. These demanding and largely unmechanized vineyards provide the foundation for producing their wines. The certified estate manages its vineyard areas with respect for the environment.
