Domaine Montaut

About the estate

The family-owned Domaine Montaut is located in Monein in the heart of Béarn and has a history dating back to 1877. The estate covers five hectares of vineyards dedicated to producing Jurançon wines. Fernand took over the family farm in 1987, restructured the vineyard, and has bottled and marketed the entire production independently since 2000. In 2010, his son Nicolas joined the winery after completing studies in viticulture and oenology. The property features a traditional local farmhouse surrounded by the vineyards alongside a recently constructed cellar building.
