Domaine Mazurd

About the estate

The Domaine Mazurd estate belongs to one of the oldest families in the village, engaging in winegrowing and independent production. The vineyards cover an area of one hundred and seventeen hectares across the communes of Tulette, Bouchet, Visan, Valréas, and Rasteau. The diverse soils are predominantly clay-limestone, providing varied exposures and terroirs for the cultivation of noble grape varieties including Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault, and Mourvèdre. The wines with protected designations of origin are aged in oak barrels for one to two years before bottling. The production encompasses the AOC Côtes du Rhône, AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages, AOC Rasteau, and Cru Rasteau appellations.
