About the estate
The Domaine Matthias & Émilie Roblin estate is located in the winemaking hamlet of Maimbray in Sury-en-Vaux near Sancerre and is run by the brothers Matthias and Émile as fourth-generation winemakers. Across approximately 20 hectares of vineyards, they cultivate steep slopes featuring Kimmeridgian and Portlandian clay-limestone soils known as terres blanches. The plantings consist of 87 percent Sauvignon Blanc and 13 percent Pinot Noir. The estate is committed to environmental protection, avoids chemical fertilizers and herbicides, and holds the highest level of Haute Valeur Environnementale certification. In the cellar, vinification relies on gravity and minimal intervention to produce authentic expressions of the Sancerre appellation.
The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
