About the estate
Based in Chaintré, the Domaine Mathias estate has been cultivated by several generations of the Mathias family since 1894, producing typical Burgundy wines. The winery has been certified organic since 2010 and follows environmentally friendly methods without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Across a vineyard area of twelve hectares, the estate crafts quality wines bottled on-site, featuring recognized appellations such as Pouilly-Fuissé, Mâcon-Chaintré, and Crémant de Bourgogne. The wines are distributed directly from the property and through wine fairs.
