About the estate

The family estate Domaine Marçais is located in Ardenay in the Loire Valley region and looks back on a history of more than 200 years. The vineyards grow between the Loire and Layon rivers on clay-schist soils on the slopes of the department's only pass. The winery produces quality wines with protected designations of origin such as Anjou, Cabernet d'Anjou, Rosé d'Anjou, and Coteaux du Layon. To ensure quality from the harvest onwards, the estate continues to rely on hand harvesting. This expertise has been passed down from generation to generation over eight generations, shaping the work of the house.
