About the estate

The Domaine les Teyssonnieres estate is located in Gigondas in the Rhône Valley and is led by Franck Alexandre, who expanded the property from four to currently 13.5 hectares. The vineyards are characterized by sandy soils, including rare pre-phylloxera vines that are nearly 140 years old. The grape varieties cultivated include Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, and Clairette, which undergo individual vinification to preserve their unique characteristics. The winery operates under environmentally conscious practices and holds certification for high environmental value.
