About the estate
The Domaine LA MADURA estate was founded in 1999 by Nadia and Cyril Bourgne, who previously worked in Bordeaux. The certified organic vineyards are located in the Saint-Chinian appellation and are characterized by a wide variety of soils including schist, sandstone, and clay-limestone, alongside altitudes ranging from 150 to 300 meters. This mosaic-like character with diverse microclimates and soil conditions forms the basis for a broad palette of wines. Harvesting is done by hand, and a new winery building was constructed in 2015. The portfolio includes traditional wines as well as non-alcoholic alternatives.
