About the estate
The Domaine L'Orée du Sabia - Cave Bastien Mousset estate was founded in 2017 by Bastien Mousset in Brem-sur-Mer in the Vendée region. Today, the winery cultivates nine hectares of vineyards managed according to biodynamic agricultural practices. The parcels benefit from a rich maritime ecosystem with diverse soils composed of slate, schistose sandstone, rhyolite, and granite. The cultivated grape varieties include Chenin, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Négrette, and Gamay. In the cellar, vinification relies on indigenous yeasts and fermentation in wooden, stainless steel, and concrete vessels to allow the wines to express their unique origin and terroir.
