About the estate

The Domaine Julien de l'Embisque winery is located in Bollène at the gateway to Provence in the Rhône Valley. Documents trace the family's involvement in the wine world back to 1830, with the current owners establishing themselves in Vaucluse in 1972. The estate has been managed under organic farming for many years, omitting the use of insecticides thanks to a surrounding ecosystem of forests and hedges. A variety of soils allows the cultivation of red grape varieties such as Grenache noir, Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Couston, alongside white varieties including Viognier, Grenache blanc, Muscat petit grain, and Muscat d’Alexandrie.
