About the estate
The Domaine Jouvet estate is located in the south of the Massif Central in the Haute Vallée de l’Orb within the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park. After working for ten years as a winegrowing consultant, Gaël Jouvet took over the estate in 2009 with four hectares of vines. The vineyards are situated at altitudes between 260 and 400 metres on stony clay-limestone soils, cultivating the grape varieties Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, Viognier and Chardonnay. Since 2019, the estate has been undergoing conversion to organic farming. In both the vineyard and the cellar, the winemaker strives to express this terroir to produce white, red and rosé wines.
