Domaine Johann Michel

About the estate

Situated in the heart of the northern Rhône Valley, the Domaine Johann Michel estate was established in 1997 and covers 5 hectares of vineyards in Saint-Péray, Cornas and Saint-Joseph. The winery cultivates Marsanne and Roussanne for white wines as well as Syrah for red wines, producing protected designation of origin wines and table wines such as VDT Grain Noir. All vineyard tasks from soil analysis to hand harvesting are carried out manually without the use of pesticides or insecticides. The management relies on organic fertilizers, treatments with biological sulfur and copper, and herbal teas in harmony with the terroir.
