About the estate
Founded in 1987 in Saint Bris by Erick Lavallée, the Domaine Grand Roche estate has been managed by his children, Caroline and Clément, since 2021. The family farms 14.5 hectares of fragmented vineyards situated between the Auxerrois and Chablis regions. The cultivated grape varieties comprise Chardonnay, Aligoté, Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir. Viticulture is conducted without herbicides or insecticides, while copper treatments are kept to a strict minimum. Vinification proceeds naturally without added yeasts or bacteria, followed by aging on fine lees in closed stainless steel tanks.
