Domaine Gilg

About the estate

The Domaine Gilg estate is located in Mittelbergheim in Alsace and traces its family history back to 1601. The winery manages 30 hectares of vineyards on the foothills of the Vosges, including parcels in the Grand Cru Zotzenberg and Grand Cru Moenchberg sites. The production covers the traditional grape varieties of Alsace, alongside Klevener de Heiligenstein and Chardonnay used for Crémant. Certified in organic farming since the 2021 harvest, the estate utilizes historical cellars dating from the 16th century. The wines are bottled at the estate and distributed primarily to European customers.
