About the estate
The family-run Domaine Dupraz estate cultivates an eighteen-hectare mountain vineyard in Apremont on the foothills of the Chartreuse massif. The vines are situated at altitudes between 350 and 450 meters on an east-facing slope that remained untouched by a historic rockfall, featuring lean and well-drained soils. The vineyard is primarily planted with Jacquère alongside Altesse and Mondeuse for the distinctive regional appellations. Since the 1980s, the traditional winery has relied on natural grass cover and predominantly manual harvesting to preserve biodiversity within the protected biotope. In the cellar, vinification utilizes stainless steel, wood, or egg-shaped vats depending on the desired profile, with extended aging periods contributing to precise and age-worthy wines.
The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Jacquère and Altesse.
