Domaine du Tunnel

About the estate

The Domaine du Tunnel estate was founded in 1994 by Stéphane Robert on the right bank of the Rhône in the Ardèche region. Today, the winery encompasses twelve hectares of vineyards situated on steep slopes and terraces with granitic soils. The grape varieties cultivated are Syrah, Marsanne, Roussanne, and Viognier, yielding wines within the Saint-Péray, Cornas, Saint-Joseph, and Condrieu appellations. Vineyard management and grape harvesting are conducted entirely by hand. For vinification and maturation, the winemaker primarily employs used barrels, wooden vats, and occasionally new oak. The estate exports twenty-five percent of its total bottled production to numerous markets around the globe.

Export markets include United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland and Belgium.
