About the estate
The family-owned Domaine des Sardelles estate is located in the north of the Sancerre wine region within the municipality of Sainte-Gemme-en-Sancerrois, producing wines under the Sancerre appellation and the IGP Val de Loire. The winery follows a low-intervention approach both in the vineyard and in the cellar with a focus on respecting the terroir and plant material. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand to preserve the quality and integrity of the fruit. Furthermore, the estate's entire vineyard is currently undergoing conversion to organic farming.
