About the estate
The Domaine des Mathouans estate was founded in June 2009 by Aline Hock, who embarked on a new journey as a winemaker with her family. Located in Latour-de-France, the winery operates according to organic and biodynamic principles and has been certified by AB and Demeter since 2013. In the vineyards, meticulous soil management with horses and machinery, along with the presence of animals, maintains a natural balance. Harvesting is done by hand with selective sorting to produce pure natural wines. The portfolio focuses on native grape varieties such as Macabeu, Muscat, Grenache, Lledoner Pelut, and Carignan, which reflect the diverse geological soils of the Agly Valley.
