About the estate

The Domaine des Marchands estate is located in Ansouis in the heart of the Luberon within the Rhône Valley and has been managed by the Pichot family for over twenty years. The vineyards are primarily situated on hillside terraces with varied limestone soils and exposures. Cultivated grape varieties include red varieties such as Syrah, Grenache Noir, Cinsault, Carignan, and Mourvèdre, alongside white varieties like Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, and Rolle. The winery practices sustainable agriculture with controlled input use to respect the environment. Harvesting is predominantly carried out at night to produce approachable and fruit-driven wines.
