About the estate
The Château Fontvert estate is situated at the entrance of the Combe de Lourmarin and is crossed by the Aigue Brun river. The vineyards are rooted in limestone molasses and sandstone soils, providing an ideal environment for southern grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Vermentino, and Grenache Blanc. Due to its exceptional location on both sides of the river, the vineyard benefits from sunny summer days and cool nights, which promote a gradual and even ripening of the berries. The winery applies organic and biodynamic viticulture practices focused on quality and the respect for biodiversity. The resulting wines are characterized by tension, elegance, and aromatic depth.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Grenache and Cinsault.
