About the estate
The Domaine des Girasols estate was founded in 1974 by Paul and Marie-Elisabeth Joyet in Rasteau in the Rhône Valley and is currently managed in the family tradition by Jon, Françoise, and Julien Larum. The property encompasses 15 hectares of terraced hillside vineyards that have been certified organic since the 2023 vintage. The portfolio features varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, yielding powerful, elegant, and fresh wines as well as Rasteau Vin Doux Naturel. Winemaking takes place in a partially underground cellar built in 1978, utilizing gravity-flow methods. The wines are distributed internationally through specialized retailers and restaurants.
