About the estate

The Domaine des Cognettes estate is located in Clisson in the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation and is managed in the ninth generation by the brothers Stéphane and Vincent. The vineyards produce a variety of white and red grape varieties as well as sparkling wines, including various Muscadet wines and crus communaux such as Clisson and Gorges. The entire estate is farmed according to organic agriculture guidelines and has been certified by ECOCERT since 2010. The management of the soils and vineyards relies on organic methods aimed at preserving biodiversity and natural balance. Harvesting is carried out essentially by hand with careful sorting in the vineyard, followed by whole-bunch pressing.
