About the estate
The Domaine Landron Chartier estate in the Loire Valley spans 35 hectares of vineyards, which converted entirely to organic farming in 2009. Vineyard management relies on natural treatments such as essential oils and plant purins, and the harvest is conducted by hand. In the cellar, vinification involves spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and minimal handling of the juices to preserve terroir characteristics. The grape variety portfolio features Gamay for Coteaux d'Ancenis, Melon Blanc for Muscadet Coteaux de la Loire, and Pinot Gris for Malvoisie. Furthermore, the winery has participated in a regional glass bottle reuse initiative since 2017.
