About the estate
The Domaine de Sarros estate is located on the hillsides of the Pyrenean foothills in Gelos and covers an area of 2.12 hectares. Established in the early 19th century, the property was renovated and replanted in 2005 to revive its winemaking vocation that had been abandoned since the Second World War. Since then, the entire estate has been farmed organically. The vineyards are planted with Petit Manseng, Gros Manseng, and Lauzet, producing dry and sweet wines under the AOC Jurançon denomination. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, and the wines are aged in French oak barrels.
