About the estate
The Chai du Baron estate is located in Bramois in the central Valais and features a historic 17th-century building. Spanning 20 hectares of vineyards, the winery cultivates plots situated on the sunny terraces of Clavau, Molignon, and Uvrier. In 2015, Patrice Walpen took over the management of the estate, applying winemaking experience acquired in Switzerland and South Africa. The portfolio includes a complete range of traditional wines as well as regional specialties produced across distinct product lines.
