About the estate

The Domaine de Montvac estate in Vacqueyras has been passed down from mother to daughter for generations, tracing its history back to 1860 when Louis Avon established the business. Today, the family-run winery cultivates a total vineyard area of 22 hectares across the Gigondas, Vacqueyras, and Côtes du Rhône appellations. Cécile Dusserre represents the fifth generation of the estate, with her daughter Amélie already representing the sixth generation. The vineyards are farmed according to certified organic agricultural standards following a transition period from sustainable farming methods.
