Château Sigalas-Rabaud

About the estate

The Château Sigalas-Rabaud estate covers fourteen hectares of vineyards within the AOC Sauternes denomination. The vineyard is situated on a gentle south-facing slope with a clay subsoil and gravel deposits from the Garonne river. This family-run property cultivates eighty-five percent Sémillon and fifteen percent Sauvignon. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand in multiple passes from September to November to select botrytised grapes. A seventeenth-century chartreuse is located at the center of the domain.
