About the estate

The Domaine de la Verriere estate is located in Goult within the Luberon Regional Natural Park on hillside plots surrounded by a protected natural area. In 1969, the Maubert family took over the property, which has since been passed down through the generations. The vineyards feature diverse soils such as ochreous sands and clay-limestone, cultivating varieties including Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Vermentino, and Roussanne. The estate practices organic farming without herbicides, using organic fertilizers and rigorous yield management. In the historical winery dating from 1900, the wines from the AOP Ventoux and Vaucluse IGP appellations are vinified and aged.

The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Grenache and Cinsault. The estate sells to retail and importers. Export markets include Germany, Netherlands and Czechia.
