About the estate
The Domaine de la Papiniere estate is located in Tillières and is managed by Vincent BARRÉ, representing the third generation of the family running the winery. Covering 45 hectares, the vineyards stretch along the slopes of the Sanguèze on soils composed of weathered gabbro, schist, and micaschist. In addition to Melon de B, which accounts for half of the plantings, the estate cultivates Folle Blanche and various other white and red grape varieties for regional wines. Since 2018, the vineyards have held the High Environmental Value certification, reflecting the implementation of sustainable agricultural practices. The production ranges from traditional Muscadet Sèvre et Maine to sparkling and diverse regional wines.
