About the estate

The Famille Lieubeau estate cultivates its vineyards in Muscadet at the mouth of the Loire near the Atlantic Ocean south of Nantes and Brittany. The history of the winery began in 1816 with Joseph Grégoire Lieubeau, whose descendant inspired the emblem of the family business. Viticulture is conducted organically with a focus on diversity in soils, grape varieties, and people. The portfolio includes dry white wines from crus such as Clisson, Château-Thébaud, and Goulaine, produced from old vines harvested by hand, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and aged long on the lees.

The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Melon de Bourgogne and Folle Blanche. The estate sells to horeca.
