The Domaine de la Montcellière estate in Lys-Haut-Layon in the Loire Valley has a long history that began in the 1880s and was established in its current form in 1942. Today, the winery is managed by the third generation of the Guéneau family, who oversee a vineyard area of over 100 hectares with a dedicated team. The production focuses on regional wine styles including dry white wines, rosé wines, and sweet moelleux wines from designations such as Anjou and the Loire Valley. The estate relies on traditional methods passed down through generations combined with an ethical philosophy applying reasoned pest management. The wines are distributed directly to customers as well as through wine trading channels.
