Domaine de la Garreliere

About the estate

The Domaine de la Garreliere estate is located in the south of Touraine in the municipality of Razines. Situated at an altitude of 130 metres, the single-block vineyard covers an area of 20 hectares. The soils consist of a diversity of clay-limestone mixtures, flint, and wind-blown sands over a clay-limestone bedrock. François Plouzeau has managed the property since 1985, which has been farmed biodynamically since 1993 and produces wines under the Touraine AOC. The grape varieties cultivated include Sauvignon, Chenin, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, and Gamay.
