About the estate
Located in the Loire Valley, the Domaine de la Couchetiere estate is managed in the fourth generation by Eric and Tony Brault. The originally family-owned property cultivates a 30-hectare vineyard spread across the communes of Thouarcé and Notre-Dame-d'Allençon in the heart of the Coteaux du Layon appellation. The vineyards are situated within the regions of the Bonnezeaux, Coteaux du Layon, Anjou, Cabernet d'Anjou, and Rosé de Loire appellations. Applying traditional and sustainable cultivation methods alongside winemaking, the estate combines ancestral techniques with modern technology. The winery is a member of the Chartre des Vignerons Indépendants.
