About the estate
The Domaine de la Chenalettaz estate has been cultivating steep terraced vineyards in Lavaux by Lake Geneva across 22 generations since 1434. Spanning a surface area of six hectares, the family-run business involving Jean-François Chevalley, Margarita Chevalley, and Benjamin Chevalley grows predominantly white grape varieties such as Chasselas, Viognier, and Riesling, alongside a smaller share of red varieties. Viticulture is conducted via integrated production with very limited treatments and a 100 percent manual harvest. The wines fall within the prestigious appellations of AOC Dézaley Grand Cru, AOC Calamin Grand Cru, AOC Lavaux, and AOC Vaud.
