About the estate

Managed by five generations, the Domaine de la Catherinette estate covers limestone-clay soils at altitudes between 120 and 250 metres with a south-facing exposition covered in pebbles and sheltered from prevailing winds. This favourable microclimate promotes optimal grape maturation and gives the wines a distinct personality and character. Philippe Jouve and his son Gabriel combine traditional cultivation with advanced equipment, maintaining vineyards that have been farmed using sustainable farming methods for nearly forty years. The estate cultivates numerous grape varieties, producing white wines from Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne and Vermentino alongside red varieties including Grenache, Syrah, Marselan, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Carignan and Clairette rose.
