About the estate
The Domaine de la Bergerie estate is situated in the heart of Anjou Noir, characterized by dark soils composed mainly of schist, sandstone, poudingue, and clay. Across twenty-seven hectares of vineyards influenced by an oceanic climate, varieties such as Chenin, Cabernet Franc, and Pineau d’Aunis are cultivated. The estate has been managed by the Guégniard family for several generations and has held organic farming certification since 2016. The production includes diverse rosé wines, dry and sweet white wines, and fruity to structured red wines from various regional appellations.
