About the estate

The family-run Domaine de Gagnebert estate was founded in 1884 by Aimé Moron as a mixed agricultural farm and is now managed by the fifth generation. Covering 120 hectares of vineyards in Anjou, the winery cultivates parcels featuring soils composed of schist, sandstone, and clayey sands. The grape varieties Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc, and Grolleau form the basis for a diverse range of wines, including dry and vibrant whites, fruity rosés, supple reds, and exceptional sweet wines. The traditional producer combines ancestral expertise with modern cellar techniques while committing to environmentally responsible production methods. These wines reflect the unique terroir along the banks of the Loire and represent renowned appellations of the region.
