About the estate
The Domaine de Chantemerle estate is located in the commune of Tremont within the Haut Layon vineyard area between Saumur, Cholet and Angers. The family winery has been operating for four generations and produces wines under the AOC Anjou, AOC Anjou gamay, AOC Cabernet d'Anjou, AOC Coteaux du Layon, AOC Rosé de Loire and AOC Saumur denominations. Since 2017, the siblings Guénael and Edwige have taken over the management from their parents. Guénael oversees the work in the vineyards and the cellar, whereas Edwige manages commercialization, logistics and administration.
