About the estate
The Domaine de Cant'alauze estate cultivates nine hectares of vineyards on a limestone plateau at an altitude of 300 meters between the Pyrenees and the Massif Central. Established in 1982, the property is run by the family and relies on organic and ecological agriculture to promote biodiversity. The vineyards feature indigenous grape varieties such as Mauzac, Ondenc, Loin de l’Œil, Braucol, Duras, Syrah, and Prunelart. All grapes are harvested entirely by hand, and fermentations are conducted spontaneously using indigenous yeasts. The wines are aged in neutral oak barrels or clay amphorae.
