About the estate
The Domaine Berthenet estate looks back on a four-hundred-year history in the vineyards of Montagny. In 1991, the family took over the operation and fully exited the cooperative system in 2002. The winery relies on sustainable and reasoned viticulture as well as the use of mass selection plant material cultivated in its own nursery. The cultivation of the plots and the individual aging of each cuvée aim to best reveal the essence of the Burgundian terroirs.
