About the estate
The Domaine Begue-Mathiot winery was founded in the early 1980s by the parents of the current operators with an initial three hectares of vineyards in Chablis. Today, the family estate cultivates a vineyard area of 18 hectares. The portfolio includes Petit-Chablis, Chablis, and Chablis Premiers Crus such as Vaillons, Vosgros, Vaucopins, and Fourchaume. The first bottles were quickly commercialized following the foundation.
