About the estate
The Crama Carastelec estate was founded in 2004 by senior Tibor Gál and is located in Carastelec in Transylvania. Across a compact vineyard area of 22 hectares, the cool climate provides ideal conditions for producing high-quality sparkling wines. The terroir features a south-facing amphitheater with clay and mica-schist soils. The entire production process, from cultivation to extended bottle aging in the modern cellar, takes place directly at the property. The estate focuses consistently on the creation of premium sparkling wines.
