About the estate
The Crama Telna estate cultivates a vineyard area of 43 hectares in the Transilvania region of Romania. The history of the winery dates back to 1784, which is also when the historic cellar beneath the manor building was constructed. Only white grape varieties such as Muscat Ottonel, Feteasca Regala, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay thrive in the vineyards. Harvesting is carried out exclusively by hand, followed by gentle processing in stainless steel tanks and controlled fermentation. The wines from the producer are classified under the Alba Iulia DOC and Dealurile Transilvaniei IG designations.
The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Muskat Ottonel and Fetească Regală. The estate sells to retail.
