About the estate
The Château Vieux Taillefer is a family-run estate spanning seven hectares of vineyards in Saint-Émilion and Entre-deux-Mers, featuring buildings dating back to the late eighteenth century. In 2006, Catherine and Philippe Cohen acquired the property and completely renovated the cellar the following year. Viticulture is conducted organically with Ecocert certification, manual harvesting, and plot-by-plot vinification in concrete vats. The portfolio includes classic red wines made from Merlot originating from very old vines, alongside rare white wines. The winery distributes its production internationally to merchants and importers.
The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc.
