About the estate
The family-owned Chateau Joinin estate has been cultivating a 25-hectare vineyard on the right bank of Bordeaux near Saint-Emilion since 1929. For four generations, the Mestreguilhem family has grown the emblematic local red grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. These grapes are used to produce a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru that reflects the exceptional terroir at the foot of the Saint-Emilion slopes. The winery places great emphasis on maintaining a consistent, fruit-forward style with significant ageing potential.
