About the estate

The Clos Marfisi estate is a family-run winery located in Patrimonio on Corsica, currently managed by the siblings Julie and Mathieu Marfisi. Founded in 1870, the property cultivates its vineyards according to organic farming methods. Winemaking focuses on terroir-driven wines originating from the three distinct sites of Ravagnola, Gritole, and Grotta di Sole. The vinification process is conducted without the addition of oenological products, with the exception of very low doses of sulfur dioxide. The soils across the sites are predominantly clay-limestone, featuring varying exposures and components such as schist and limestone pebbles.
