About the estate
The Clos Lapeyre estate is located in Jurançon and is managed by winemaker Jean-Bernard Larrieu. The winery operates under organic farming practices to produce natural and expressive wines. The vineyard consists of seven small plots situated on diversified geology, yielding five to nine different dry and sweet white wines depending on the vintage. The character of the wines is shaped by factors such as the minerality of the pudding stone and the influence of the Pyrenees.
The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng. The estate sells to retail.
